Will I be shown how to use the gym equipment?
Yes, we provide a free induction given by a qualified trainer. You will be given an overview of the gym and the equipment and then given a complimentary fitness program to follow with the option of review to keep check on your progress. You can book this induction session when you join or on your first visit to the club.

Are there lockers?
Yes! Lockers are located in the changing rooms and the gym and are only to be used for the duration of your training session.

Does the facility include sauna, steam, spa and pool?
Yes our wet area includes all of the above!

Will personal training be available?
Yes, this is available at an additional cost. Details of all our personal trainers can be found at reception.

Does Abbey Sports offer classes?
Yes we do! We offer a wide variety of classes from aerobics to zumba, all of which are included in membership.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes, guests are very welcome and should be accompanied by you. A guest pass can be bought from reception for £5 at off peak times and £7.50 at peak times.

Does Abbey Sports offer Car Parking?
Yes, there is free ample parking on site.

Is the Abbey Sports website secure?
Yes, the membership application form on the website is secure. Any details will be fully encrypted and your personal and banking details will be kept private.

Do you have a Corporate or Team Membership Schemes?
Yes we do, we can always do something to make your workforce/team a healthier one! We require a minimum of 5 people from any association to enter into a scheme. Please see the club manager to discuss this.

Can I freeze my membership?
Yes! You can freeze your membership for up to 3 months! Please contact reception for details.

I have children – do you have any facilities for them?
We do! We have a crèche Monday – Saturday for children aged from 6 weeks – 6 years. This is open from 9.30am – 11.30am on afirst come, first served basis and has an additional charge of £3 per morning. We also have children’s swim times onSaturday and Sunday where you can bring the kids free of charge between the hours of 10am and 2pm!

When I join will I be issued with a membership card?
Yes, this will be issued to you on your first visit to the club.
